Sometime in February, Twitter released a new layout to a select hundred users to try out their new layout. Slowly but surely, more users are upgrading. Have you?
What’s New:
- “Bigger is better”- Everything is larger: your photos, your header, your profile itself, your tweets and hopefully your follower list!
- Facebook Feel – Not a fan of Twitter? Now you’re in luck! It has more of a Facebook-style layout with a header photo instead of a background layout.
- Staggered Posts- Say goodbye to the straight, vertical timeline. Your posts will now be staggered, similar to Facebook.
- Top Tweet – You can now pin your best tweet to the top of your profile! This is supposed to be amazing for marketing; highlighting your recent photo or tweet that you’re particularly proud of so it stands out when people visit your profile.
What We Can Do:
With the change of format, you will now need a new header picture instead of a background image. The size of the header is now larger, and you certainly don’t want your brand image to stretch! We’ve created many header photos for Google+ and Facebook, how can we help create one for your Twitter page?
Why do you even need a Twitter page? This blog post explains exactly why!
You can’t afford to miss out on this trend!
