We find ourselves in a time where everyone is concerned with what they buy being natural, organic, and safe for the environment. Unfortunately when buying organic the cost is always certainly higher than buying non organic, but what if I told you there was an organic that could actually save money? This brings us to organic marketing.
When companies are first starting up they put a great deal of money into marketing to promote their new business. In order to make people aware of a grand opening they will often pay for ad space, media attention, email list, and other ways to spread the word about their business. But once a company becomes relevant, and builds a following, shouldn’t they be able to stop spending countless amounts of money to grow? Time and time again businesses will actually begin to put more money into marketing strategies to grow business. When done right this can be a great use of resources but companies miss the chance to use what they have built to their advantage.
Marketing is the business version of word of mouth and if a business has spent time and money on the initial stages of growth they need to use their built clients to continue the growth. Maybe your company has an email opt in or a registration that collects emails, make sure to use those emails at your disposal. Send an email blast that prompts people to bring a friend who has never been to your establishment with the offer of a coupon or deal. You may already be using an email service or can sign-up for a free one like MailChimp. This means you are performing marketing at no extra cost and using your current clientele to promote business. This is the whole idea of organic marketing! And what about social media marketing you ask? Part Two can be found HERE! You can also check out what we do with Marketing Strategy.
