When the day came to view the final logo design on the printed pieces, we were very excited! Seeing Nappy Automotive’s new logo and branding program was a thrill. As a graphic designer, I never get tired of seeing my work in print. We drove up to the shop and there it was, the Nappy tow truck with their new strong branding identity emblazoned across it’s door. It looked awesome! Our client was very happy with the way the logo worked on his truck and signage.
He now had a branding program that helped him stand out amongst his competition in the small town of Croton on Hudson in Westchester County, NY. Nappy Automotive now has unique own-able graphics, a color he can call his “own” and a font-style quickly communicates trust and reliability. His brand story is compelling to his customers. The way Ron involved them in the design process was enriching to his community. He invited his costumers input by hanging our designs on the wall of his shop. Everyone had a say. In the end the design that won out was the choice of owner, Ron, but the fun of being involved in the decision was felt by all.
