Westchester residents can’t miss the tiny stand-alone soft serve ice cream shop covered in bright pink and black cow spots as they drive by on Route 202 in Cortlandt Manor. The branding project for the award winning design team continues as customers participate in contests and other creative social media promotions created by them for the nostalgic eatery.
The team conducted a character study and gave the Daily Moos cow mascot a distinct personality and created the current “Name Our Cow” contest through Facebook where one lucky winner will get to pick the name for the new cartoon cow that’s becoming a local celebrity. Hudson Valley Graphic Design is now managing the Daily Moos social media marketing and customers can follow them on Facebook for all kinds of promotions and updates. Customers have lined up this summer season to get a little taste of the variety of soft serve ice cream flavors offered at Daily Moos and enjoy the old fashioned fun. “Daily Moos is a fun upbeat brand with lots of personality,” said Janeen Violante, owner of HVGD. “Our team enjoyed creating this unique nostalgic brand and we are proud of the outcome, especially the eye-catching design painted on the building by our own son.”
