With a successful business and a growing client base, Nancy knew she needed some graphic design solutions. When she first set eyes on her little split-level home nestled on a private acre on winding road in Croton on Hudson, NY, Nancy had a vision, filled with gardens and the aroma of home-cooked meals emanating from her kitchen. She made it happen. After several years her dream came true just as she had pictured.
Nancy now has thriving business preparing home-cooked gourmet meals, teaching cooking classes and maintaining her gardens overflowing with flowers, vegetables and herbs.
When Nancy contacted us, she was looking for a local graphic designer. She had a growing business and a name, ”Nancy’s Garden Gourmet” that was all. As her business started to thrive, she realized she needed some graphic design solutions including a logo and some packaging labels for the organic products she was selling and the home-cooked meals she was preparing for a growing number of steady clients. She was known throughout her community as an expert in the field of nutrition & organic gardening.
With her growing client base, she saw her need for branding her business.
Even though I’ve been designing graphics for many years, I never get tired of meeting new clients and learning about their business! When I walked into her home, the first thing I notices was the richness of the colors in her rooms. Blues, purples, and deep terra-cotta walls created a cozy only matched by the rich aroma of something tasty cooking on her stove.
In my next post, I will share my experience of stepping into this colorful gourmet kitchen and our Phase 1, how we arrived at our final graphic design solution.
