When you are in the process of establishing your brand logo, remember, “Credibility is King” There are many ways to communicate credibility with your logo design and brand identity to develop trust with your ideal customer.
1. Using classic typefaces. Avoid overly designed font styles. Stay away from hard-to read typefaces that make your logo obscure. Using a more traditional face, but perhaps making it unique with a ligature is a great way of establishing trust with your customer, whether they realize it or not
2. Using icons and images can communicate reliability. Solid shaped icons within shapes can all be used to establish trust. Avoid overly detailed illustrations that make it hard for your customer to figure our what that’s a picture of!
3. Using color. True there are only so many colors in the rainbow to use for your logo design but if you stick with basic colors and perhaps tweak it a bit to make it yours, you can “own” that color and keeping it consistent throughout your “touchpoints” will make you seem trustworthy.
Starting at your business card and extending through your printed materials to you website to your face book cover photo. All these elements must be aligned with each other to corm a solid brand foundation and maintain brand continuity
Why is it so important? Be cause you are creating a level of trust with your customer when they see your continues brand you are perceived as trustworthy reliable –if you have several different looks they don’t know which one to attach to are believe or trust. Maintain strong brand continuity across all of your platforms including social media platforms to insure your customer will recognize you in the saturated landscape.
