My little one is going off to school today. It’s her senior year in high school. How did that happen? A common question that parents ask as they see the years fly by..and watch their little ones grow up so fast.
Seasons Change
I love the seasons, all of them. As summer ends, I find myself thinking about all the fun activities of fall and all the plans I want to make to see the foliage and do autumn-type stuff.
As I’ve raised my four children, watching them go through their “seasons” has been interesting, entertaining, and yes a bit stressful. Sometime it seems like a revolving door in my home these days. Who is moving in, who is moving out. I am watching my kids launch, spread their wings, use their talents and try to make it in this hectic, wonderful world. I think of a quote I heard years ago “the days are long, but the years are short.”
Hold on to Each Other
The one thing I know is that we all need each other. We need to lean on each other and realize that doing life together is better than braving it alone. My friend Louise once told me “little kids little headaches..” you know the rest.
As the seasons of our lives fly by, and our “little ones” go off to school, let’s hold tight to one another, lean on each other and do this life together.
If this is your season to start a business, or take your company to the next level, let’s talk about that. I have some great ideas for you.
