The Olympic games have brought on a great deal of attention but not because of the games or the athletes. Much of the opinions have been on the conditions throughout Rio. Now as the Olympics have officially begun, as more eyes and ears will be on the events, the question becomes…but how will these games be remembered? The answer to that may rely on social media.

For the past eight years Hudson Valley Graphic Design has partnered with the not for profit organization Harry Chapin Memorial Run Against Hunger committee, to brand the race event and design the promotional graphics and t-shirts worn by participants on race day. My big brother Michael, who had been stationed in Viet Nam for only two months had been wounded and was being flown to a hospital in Japan.
